Tasting Room Manager
George, a native of the Emerald Isle, started his wine journey when he arrived in California over 30 years ago. He took a few detours and after spending 5 years in St Helena, he eventually saw the light and settled in Sonoma. He now lives in Sonoma Valley near the Caton Vineyards, so close that he can see the vines of Ty’s Upper Bench Cabernet block. When he is not working in the Tasting Room, George can be found hiking or biking the hills around Sonoma County. But he’s in the tasting room most days, so come on to say hi! He’ll have you taste some great wines.
